Officers
Terms effective March 2008 through March 2010
Hugh Barry, Chairman
Hugh is currently serves on the Board of Assessment
Appeals and has served on this Board for over 15 years.
As a Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers,
the world's largest public accounting, tax consulting
and business advisory firm, he consults with public
and private corporations on a wide variety of federal,
state and local, and international tax issues. Previously,
he was a Vice President, Regional Manager, and investor
in American Appraisal Associates, a global business
valuation and asset appraisal firm.
He has lived in Easton for over 30
years with his wife, Kathy, and four children. He is
a past president of The Easton Little League, The Easton
Lions Club, and The Notre Dame of Easton Parish Council.
Hugh is a graduate of Fordham University
and attended New York University's Graduate School of
Business.
Jim Riling, Vice-Chair
Jim was born and raised in Easton and he returned to
town 10 years ago. Jim and his wife, Nancy, have three
daughters, Meghan, who is a freshman at Boston University,
Melissa, a junior at Joel Barlow High School, and Amy
who is in sixth grade at Helen Keller Middle School.
Jim has a Bachelors of Arts in Political
Science from the University of Connecticut in Storrs,
CT and a Masters in Business Administration from Sacred
Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He is currently a
Senior Financial Analyst with Leasing Technologies International,
Inc. in Wilton, CT.
Besides serving on the Republican
Town Committee, Jim is Co-Chair of the Easton Economic
Sources Committee.
David Boczar, Treasurer
Lisa Tasi, Secretary
Lisa V. Tasi has been a member of the ERTC since 1994.
Lisa has worked on many committees
- campaign coordination, print & media, election fundraising,
poll watcher and voter result tallies. She currently
is part of the GOP4 team for Connecticut and is a liaison
with the Republican Legislative Representatives serving
Easton.
Lisa was educated through the local
school system of Region 9 (comprising Easton and Redding)
and has before earning several degrees from at Smith
College, in Northampton, MA and the University of Florence,
Italy. She is actively involved with the Greater Bridgeport
Symphony, the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County,
the School Volunteer Association, and other charitable
and cultural organizations and 'think tanks'. One of
Lisa's favorite campaign slogans is 'Vote Republican,
Keep Easton Special.
