As you know, I announced my run for Congress
last week.

In my speech to supporters, I outlined the three
core principles that will guide my campaign and my actions
when elected to office:
One of my opponents recently released polling results with
good news for our campaign. A comparison of the survey results
released March 11th by the Debicella campaign with the results
of our own survey shows that I am clearly in the best position
to beat Jim Himes in November. In fact, I lead Himes by 8
points while my opponent trails Himes by 2 points, after voters
are read statements about our qualifications and experience:
* Herrmann 44% - Himes 36% (8-point lead)
* Debicella 42% - Himes 44% (2-point deficit)
Finally, I would like to thank all of you for the outpouring
