Annual Cocktail Party

Sunday, October 26, 2008. The Easton Republican Town Committee hosted its annual Cocktail Party at the home of Cathy and Adam Dunsby of Redding Road, Easton. This event is the last social gathering before Election Day for Easton Republicans.

More than 80 people, along with US Representative Christopher Shays and his wife, Betsi, recognized Dori Wollen for her many contributions to the Republican Party and the Town of Easton during the past 30 years. Easton First Selectman, Tom Herrmann, proclaimed Sunday, October 26th as "Dori Wollen Day in Easton" and praised her twenty years of service on the Town's Conservation Commission. Dori has been a member of the Republican Town Committee for almost 30 years and has chaired its Nominating Committee on several occasions.

In addition to Congressman Shays, State Senator and Senate Minority Leader, John McKinney and John Stripp, State Representative for the 135th District were also in attendance and presented a citation from the State Assembly recognizing Dori dedication and commitment to civic involvement.
